Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) was established in 1965 by the University of Mumbai (Bombay) in collaboration with the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, with a donation from Jamnalal Bajaj Seva Trust. The institution has been ranked amongst Asia’s Top 25 business schools, by ‘Asia Inc’.

Eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks from any recognized university of India.
For Doctorate: The candidates must have done Graduation and Master’s degree in the relevant subject, from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Admission Procedure
Candiates can obtain the Application Forms and prospectus on payment (inclusive of admission test fees) of Rs. 950/- (non-refundable) on working days (except on Sunday, Second and Fourth Mondays and Public Holidays).
No postal request will be entertained.
Selection Procedure
· For Master of Management Studies (Full Time)
All the eligible candidates have to undergo a 3-tier selection procedure consisting of a Common Entrance Test (CET), a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).
CET is a multiple-choice objective test to evaluate the aptitude of the candidates in verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logic, visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation.
This test is then followed by a GD and PI which carry a significant role in the entire selection process.
Please note that the entire admission process for the MMS course has been taken over by The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, 3 Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai – 400 001, from the academic year 1996-1997.
For MHRDM, MMM, MFM, MIM (Part Time)
All the eligible candidates have to appear for a Common Written Test (CWT), followed by a Group Discussion (GD).
CWT is a multiple-choice objective test to evaluate the aptitude of the candidates in verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logic, visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation.
The candidate is evaluated on the base of his performance in both the Common Written Test and Group Discussion.
For Ph.D Programme
All the eligible candidates have to appear for a Common Written Test (CWT) and a Personal Interview (PI).
CWT is a multiple-choice objective test to evaluate the aptitude of the candidates in verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logic, visual reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation.
JBIMS provides multiple avenues for companies to increase their visibility on campus. This helps the students to get a close look at the companies and acts as a deciding factor in his/her preference at the time of student voting and campus recruitment. The platforms available to the companies are:

The Alumni Committee facilitates constant interactions with the alumni and acts as an interface for the alumni to reach out to the institute and contribute in the form of infrastructure development, guest lectures, scholarships, student mentorship, etc.
