Presuming that the majority of the members here are MBA students / young career aspirants, a community on Supply Chain Management is expected to help them in their study.
Supply Chain Management is taught almost in all the MBA curriculum in India and abroad. Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Distribution, Purchasing etc. are the buzz words today. The next thing to happen in India is tremendous growth in the SCM field. Fortunately, there aren't very many suitable candidates to fill the posts. Knowledge is lacking woefully in SCM.Thus, a great opportunity for those who opt for it.
This community shall serve the purpose of sharing knowledge and experience on SCM. I shall give career counseling to those who want to seek it.
