Asian shares were mostly higher on Friday, taking their cues from a record finish on Wall Street overnight after US economic data continued to show a gradual improvement.
China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.22 percent or 4.79 points at 2,200.98.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng rose 0.68 percent or 160.91 points at 23,741.20.
Japan’s Nikkei added 1.12 percent or 172.07 points at 15,537.67.
Singapore’s Straits Times was down 0.14 percent or 4.46 points at 3,167.92.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 0.28 percent or 5.52 points at 1,999.30.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.13 percent or 10.35 points at 8,109.80.

Asian shares kicked off the week mostly higher following a strong finish on Wall Street Friday and news of a historic deal over Iran%u2019s nuclear program.
Japan%u2019s Nikkei advanced 1.32%u0025 or 203.43 points at 15,585.15.
Singapore%u2019s Straits Times was up 0.12% or 3.78 points at 3,176.63.
South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite gained 1.01% or 20.21 points at 2,026.44.
Taiwan%u2019s Taiwan Weighted rose 1.05% or 85.10 points at 8,201.88.
China%u2019s Shanghai Composite shed 0.43% or 9.35 points at 2,187.03. Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng was flat at 23,701.44.

Asian markets were trading mixed on Tuesday. China%u2019s Shanghai Composite was up 0.20 percent or 4.46 points at 2,190.57.
Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng rose 0.21 percent or 49.90 points at 23,734.35.
Japan%u2019s Nikkei shed 0.71 percent or 110.62 points at 15,508.51.
Singapore%u2019s Straits Times was down 0.17 percent or 5.45 points at 3,175.20.
South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite fell 0.29 percent or 5.81 points at 2,010.17.

Asian shares were lower on Wednesday despite record high on Wall Street overnight and as rising political tensions in the region weighed on sentiment.
China%u2019s Shanghai Composite fell 2.16 points to 2,180.91 and Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng declined 15.48 points to 23,665.80.
Japan%u2019s Nikkei 225 Average was down 54.92 points to 15,460.32 while Singapore%u2019s Straits Times slipped 3.14 points to 3,170.37 and South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite declined 9.72 points to 2,012.92.

Asian equity markets followed Wall Street shares higher on Thursday but the mood could be quiet with US markets shut for the Thanksgiving holiday.
