Reliance Industries trades higher on the BSE

Reliance Industries scrip is currently trading at Rs. 885.05, up by 0.45 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 884.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 885.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 892.30 and Rs. 879.15 respectively. So far 2, 08,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 954.80 on 21-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 761.00 on 21-Nov-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 915.00 and Rs. 880.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2, 86,206 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.31% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.53% and 21.74% respectively.

Reliance Industries’ telecom arm Reliance Jio Infocomm has bagged a unified telecom licence for 4G services. The unified licence will facilitate the company to offer both voice and high-speed data services to subscribers across all the 22 telecom circles in the country. The company has submitted a one-time entry fee of about Rs 1,673 crore for the licence.

Recently, the company received licence to facilitate internet and voice roaming services in Singapore. The licence will facilitate Reliance Jio Infocomm to buy, operate and sell undersea and/or terrestrial fibre connectivity.

Reliance Jio is the only telecom operator to own nationwide fourth generation spectrum or radio waves.
