Ongoing wedding season also supported demand for chana.In Delhi spot market, chana jump up by 83.35 rupee to end at 3608.65 rupee per 100 kgs.

Chana trading range for the day is 3549-3621.Chana slipped on increasing supplies from the new season crop, a drop in local buying and estimates of higher output.Supplies from the new season crop are increasing from Rajasthan as this is the main season.NCDEX accredited warehouses chana stocks gained by 254 tonnes to 6714 tonnes.In Delhi spot market, chana fell down by -48.85 rupee to end at 3516.55 rupee per 100 kgs.

Chana trading range for the day is 3556-3758.Chana fell weighed by supplies from the new harvest and on estimates of higher output.Supplies from the new season crop have risen from Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.NCDEX accredited warehouses chana stocks gained by 878 tonnes to 10772 tonnes.In Delhi spot market, chana fell down by -20.85 rupee to end at 3604.15 rupee per 100 kgs.

Chana prices closed higher by 1.2 per cent on Wednesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the traders enlarged their holdings in the commodity on account of the good demand in the market. At the NCDEX, chana futures for April 2013 contract closed at Rs. 3,635 per quintal, up by 1.2 per cent, after opening at Rs. 3,602 against the previous closing price of Rs. 3,592.

Chana prices closed higher by 1.2 per cent on Wednesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the traders enlarged their holdings in the commodity on account of the good demand in the market. At the NCDEX, chana futures for April 2013 contract closed at Rs. 3,635 per quintal, up by 1.2 per cent, after opening at Rs. 3,602 against the previous closing price of Rs. 3,592.

Chana prices closed lower by 1.42 per cent on Saturday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the steady sowing progress of pulses along with high supplies in major producing states. At the NCDEX, chana futures for May 2013 contract closed at Rs. 3,468 per quintal, down by 1.42 per cent, after opening at Rs. 3,521 against the previous closing price of Rs. 3,518.
