Epic US Markets Update -
July 13th, 2012
The US markets rebound off their session lows but finish the day lower, with the Dow briefly turning positive as S&P index of homebuilders jumped 2.4% & Merck helped lead a rally in health care shares. The Dow fell more than 100 points early in the session, turned it around later, but was never able to hold its ground.
Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.25% or 31.26 points at 12573.27. Nasdaq Composite fell 0.75% or 21.79 points at 2866.19. Standard & Poor’s 500 shed 0.5% or 6.69 points at 1334.76. |
