Dear Friends..

Reliance Capital Trustee Company has bought 4.64 lakh shares of Jindal South West Holdings at Rs.206 per share, which is a 4.18% stake in the company.

This is the first investment by Reliance, the undisputed leader in the MF industry, into an investment holding company.

This may be a sign of times to come for changing investor perception towards investment holding companies and topping the list will be companies such as SRF Polymers Ltd., Vindhya Telelinks Ltd., Nalwa Sons Investments Ltd. and Consolidated Finvest & Holdings Ltd.

In case of Vindhya Telelinks Ltd., FII interest has been rising steadily.
Close on the heels of Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius Pvt. Ltd. which acquired a 3.04% stake in the December quarter, Morgan Stanley & Co. International Ltd. has acquired a 2.32% stake in the March quarter, from open market operations.
