Have not been achieved so far. But in many sectors it has destabilized the indigenous enterprises and in certain hi-tech sectors, the foreign companies have secured total control of the markets, even as they have brought little by way of investment.
In other words, foreign companies are gaining control of the domestic market at a relatively lower cost and without developing significant stake in the economy.
