INSTRUCTIONS :-
1. In the question number 4, "pi" means "22/7 or 3.14".
2. In the question number 3, "x{4}" states "x raised to 4"

1) Two numbers are such that one is ‘x’ less than 43 and the other is ‘x’ greater than 34. If product of both the numbers is 1482, find the smaller number.

Answers for Q. 2, 3, 4 & 5 r rite...dude !

Explanation for Q.1 :-

First number = (34+x)
Second number = (43-x)
Product of the two numbers :-
(34+x) (43+x) = 1482
1462 + 9x - x{2} = 1482
x{2} - 9x + 20 = 0
(x-5 )(x-4) = 0
x = 5 or x= 4.

If x=5, first number is 39 & second number is 38.

Where as, if x = 4, first number is 38 & the second number is 39.

Hence, the smaller number is 38.
Hence, option 2].
