The correct answer is 'c' a<0
There might be direct method to solve, but i followed this approach.
Since we've |a|>|b| and a<b, it is obvious that the values of a and b should be -ve
Now assume that a= -2 and b =-1 (should satisfy the conditions)
So immediately, our case is solved and we get the answer. Take, any other value, the conditions wont be met. Moreover the magnitude of a should be more than b. Hence (a,b) can't even have (1,0) value too.
I hope this is enough. Please let me know if there are any errors.

The no. can be formed from the 1st statement. = 88k + 8
Now, we have to find the reminder of no./11
i.e. (88k+8)/11
The resultant reminder shall be the sum of the reminder of the two terms. Hence, the first term's reminder is 0 and the 2nd term, give the reminder as 8
