STRENGTHS:-

 Well known for quality of work - The Company has been in the market for the last 40 years and is known in the market for its quality and standards of work; because of this they enjoy a tremendous goodwill in the market. Also it is highly recognized in the market. Today, the company has become a brand in itself.


 Latest Technology - The Company has the latest technology at its disposal. Also the production process is highly automated which makes the work much faster.


 Experienced Proprietor - The proprietor has an experience of more than 40 years in the industry, which proves as an invaluable tool to the company as a whole.


 Knowledgeable Employees – Most of the employees have been working with the company for a long time and are happy with its policy. Also they have gained more experience in this industry with this company which has made them quite efficient and knowledgeable.


 Smart Hiring Policy – According to the latest trend the company follows a smart hiring policy to avoid being faced by the problem of employee attrition.


 Adaptability According To The Demand - The Company has the capacity to print any design, match any color combination, provide the material in any shape and size and print on variety of papers with different textures and finish.


 Aggressive Expansion – The Company has grown tremendously since its inception.


 Loyal and Diversified Clientele – The Company has managed to retain its existing customer base while it is also diversifying and trying to add newer and newer names to its consumer list.


 Negotiable Pricing Policy - In negotiations, they try to check out where the prices can be reduced e.g., change in quality of paper or method of buying the paper (cash basis or on credit basis; buying paper is cheaper on cash basis rather than on credit basis). After this the two parties settle on a price and enter a contract.



 Forward Integration – The Company has started doing jobs like punching, pasting and lamination. Today, it is a full-fledge printing press as. The company is also looking forward to manufacturing the inks required for printing.


 Wide Product Range – The Company has a huge product range.



WEAKNESSES:-


 Government incentives are not made use of properly.


 No Marketing Strategy - Marketing is done on a very limited basis.


 High attrition rate among the employees, in the industry, in general.



OPPORTUNITIES:-

 Open Economy. New foreign companies are setting up their manufacturing plants in India because of this the packaging business is growing in leaps and bounds. Almost all the products require proper packaging. Products with proper packaging are also preferred by customers.


 The printing press industry is one of the most essential industries today. Products like brochures, Paper bags; Cartons, Leaflets, Calendars, Diaries, etc. are always in demand and are required by all of the companies on a daily basis. Also with new businesses coming up the demand is increasing.



THREATS:-

 No Company Loyalty: - There is a great risk involved as they first hire the people, train them but after taking so much of efforts, there are chances of employees leaving the company and working for some other company.


 According to Mr. Shetty, the government does not pay much attention to the grievances of the printing presses in the small scale industries (SSI) sector as it is concentrating solely on the welfare and promotion of the government owned presses.


 In addition to it, the company also faces a threat from other local presses who charge absurdly less so as to penetrate into the market. Mr. Shetty also asserts that they also face completion from other well-known brands in the market because the consumers have a general perception of associating a reputed brand name with good quality
