Way to IB
Wish to be an investment banker but dont know how to go about it ? Then read on. Below are the 6 steps that lead you to becoming and investment banker ..........
Being MBA grads you are quite, young. so follow the steps given below.
1. Complete you MBA with core Finance specialisation.
2. Strengthen your fundamentals in Excel Modelling, WACC models, Equity Valuation, Bond Pricing, Writing equity report, and start stacking some major markets like US, Europe, also read stuff on asia pac.
3. Make a habit of reading Economic times and strongly understand financial markets and instruments.[/font]
4. Join companies like Fidility investment, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley or research firms like E-value, Cople partners, and that exposure will be enough to being in the market
5. after 3 yrs write for CFA
6. and thats where u will have no looking back
