Hi,
What is the scope of your study? I would suggest u take up the tata project. i guess it is something that interests you.
if u do take up this project, read up on the views expressed in brand equity and eco times by renault, mahindra, etc CEOs who dont think its such a great idea afterall.
Now there are two ways to tackle this project: manufacturer's side and consumer's side
Manufacturer's side: it is not possible to produce and sustain a 1 lakh car
Consumer's side: despite the evident cost benefit, consumers may find it an indication of a lower status symbol (as in a consumer will prefer a high ranging bajaj mototcycle rather than a low cost car which he is not too happy showing aroudn to his friends). For this, ur target shud be 23-28 yrs of age, new earning members, just married, bachelors moved into new cities. You can touch upon aspects of why the car may be a failure.
There is no point in doing a MR on whether the car will be successful as everyone will say Yes, end of story. Do soemthin different that your coordinators will sit up and take notice.

One more thing, if u take google, u have to narrow it down to soem of their products, they r coming up with new ones as we speak and u have no idea how many products they have. in india we use only 5% of google's capabilities...so dont make a dated project that u feel stupid reading after a year.
