Topic of Research: “Factors influencing choice of two wheelers amongst youngsters”.

The study has been conducted in the city of Bombay to know what are the various factors, which influence the choice of two wheelers amongst youngsters, and to what extent do they do so. This study has been undertaken to know the extent of influence while making a choice for a particular two-wheeler based on

1.Personal profile.
2.Product related features.
3.Market related factors.
4.Societal factors.
5.Economy related factors.
6.Geographical factors.
7.Personality related factors.

The reason underlying the need to assess and evaluate the various factors which play a prominent role in helping a customer to make a choice for a particular two wheeler from the various available alternatives to him. Some of these factors are predominant in decision making where as some others are not very significant but have still found a place in the research work owing to their contribution although marginal.

The study has been conducted by understanding the need and various requirements for study. Then the factors which influence the decision making process for a particular two-wheeler were decided. Responses from two wheeler owners were collected by means of a comprehensive questionnaire. Based on these responses the analysis has been done and inferences have been drawn.
