In order to find out how ready the market was for the launch of our product, we conducted a survey, personal interviews and asked people, mainly the smokers as to what they think about a product which will help them in quitting their addiction to smoking and in which form should they be available.
We asked them whether they would like to use a simple product such as chewing gum for that matter.
Sample size
We surveyed approximately 200 people of all ages, occupations and of both genders, all of whom have been smoking and also at the same time all of whom fall under our ideal target audience, so that we can get an unbiased insight into the way our potential customers think and what we should provide for their satisfaction.
Different ways used to contact them
• The people known to our research team were personally called up or met with
• The people unknown to our team were given questionnaires to fill out (questions from the questionnaire have been given on the next page)
