HERE IS A RESEARCH ON INDIAN STOCK MARKET


Objective of Research:

The main objectives of this research work are as follows

 To study the preferences of people.
 To study their behavior with respect to equity market.
 To understand their expected returns.
 To study their motives for investment in share market.



Research Methodology

1. Primary research & Secondary research

  • A research methodology defines what the activity of research is, how to proceed, how to measure progress.

  • This research includes individual’s preferences or habits for investing in stock market options when they think of investment for their savings.


2. Research Design: -

  • It is actually framework of a research that provides specific details or information regarding the process to be followed while conducting the research.

  • The research is designed based on objectives formulated. It includes all the details regarding the research such as what are the information sources sampling process.


a.Sampling: -

Sampling is the process of selecting units (e.g., people, organizations) from a population of interest so that by studying the sample we may fairly generalize our results back to the population from which they were chosen.


b.Sample Size: -

The sample size would be hundred from various group of peoples like salaried, business class, retired, etc.


c.Type of sampling:

It would be simple random sampling of the people residing in Mumbai.

3. Research Method

The research method use to collect data will be questionnaires to the general public with one to one method.


Limitations:

The major limitations of the research are as follows:

 Sample size of only 100 respondents.
 Respondents will be general public who may or may not have already invested in mutual funds.
 The time will be a constraint while working on this project.
