Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) is an American multinational source of custom information technology. The company conducts recruitment exam every year for the selection of eligible aspirants to its various posts. The selection procedure mainly consists of 2 stages- a written test and an interview round. The test is highly competitive and only those clearing both the stages will be selected for the suitable post by the company.
CTS Placement Test
Generally for the placement test, there will be 3 sections - aptitude section, analytical section and verbal section. In the aptitude section, questions from various sections such as picture puzzles, odd man out and so on will be asked. The analytical section mainly consists of questions from data interpretation, blood relation, coding decoding and statement conclusion. Those clearing the written test will be called up for the interview round. There will be both technical as well as personal questions. To face the technical questions, the candidate has to be well prepared about basics of various core subjects, C, C++ and other programming languages. Sometimes the interviewer may ask the candidate to write programs for doing certain tasks. There will also be questions from the seminar and main project which the candidate has done in their final year of study. In the HR personal interview round, the questions will be asked about ones hobbies, ambition, why interested in joining CTS and so on. Those performing well in this stage will be selected for joining the company.
