The Program
Executive MBA (part-time):
During 14 months and 39 working days off-the job of this triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, FIBAA) Executive MBA program, the participants work on three continents and earn degrees from two leading business schools in America and Europe.
The program is offered jointly with the University of Minnesota and focuses on general management and leadership issues.
Emphasis is placed on the impact of globalization, the development of appropriate corporate strategies, the management of change processes and the acquisition of solid financial management skills.
Ten modules of four days each are taught in Vienna and are embedded in two-weeks pre- and post module distance learning phases. There are also three international field studies to Eastern Europe (Bucharest & St. Petersburg), Asia (Shanghai & Bangalore) and America (New York & Minneapolis).
Participants are typically taught in the mornings - for example by professors from the famous Fudan University in Shanghai or the renowned Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore - and visit companies in the afternoons.
A particular highlight of the program is the participation in a virtual team project. Here participants develop business plans with Executive MBA students from Warsaw (Poland), Guangzhou (China) and Minneapolis (USA). All teams gather to present their results at the end of the program in Minneapolis. During 14 months and some 39 working days off-the job, the participants work on three continents and earn degrees from two leading business schools in America and Europe.
