The premises

ESIGELEC’s move to the Madrillet Technological Park (at the southern entrance to Rouen) took place in April 2004. This was made necessary because of the growing number of students, the areas of activity connected with the school (industrial research, further training, advice to industry, the incubator) and the foundation of IRSEEM (Electronic Embedded Systems Research Institute), this move allowed enhanced corporation with Rouen INSA, and the scientific research centres already present in the Park. In this centre of engineering science it is the closest electronic specialist to its industrial partners. The school is situated in a 12600 sq m building. The building was supervised by Rouen CCI, which provided the finance together with the European Union, the “Conseil Général”, the “Conseil Régional” and ESIGELEC.
