Post Round 1 next steps: Interviews and early release - 3 Weeks Ago

Thanks to those of you who have applied to HBS in Round 1.We are humbled by your stories of impact and by your interest in HBS.

On Tuesday, October 1 at 12:00 noon Eastern Time, each of youwill receive individual news on next steps. There are three possibilities:

  • Invite to interview – this is good news!
  • Further consideration – also positive! This is asmall group of strong applicants that we ask to wait with us until Round 2, atwhich point we will review your application again. More info on this processwill be shared with you directly if you receive “further consideration” news.
  • Early release – unfortunately we are not able to moveyou forward in the process. Our hope is by letting you know this news early onin the process you can move forward with other plans.

If you are invited to interview, you will be able to viewthe dates, times, and locations we have available for interviews. You won’t beable to sign up for interview slots until the next day, Wednesday, October 2 at10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

In the past, we sent out interviews in waves in order tobetter manage the interview sign-up process. We know that was hard to waitthrough multiple days. So we are doing it altogether this year, and we believethat we have a good process in place to manage the interview sign-ups all atonce. But, may I ask for your patience if we need to work through anyunanticipated challenges? Thank you!

How does this impact your International MBA decision?
