Well, we dont go about advertising ourselves like some of the others do. Also, ours is a relatively new institute established in 2004. So, it will take some time before everybody gets to know about us. Infrastructure hasnt been our strength but now, with the new campus coming up in March 2009, We can expect the college to be ranked in the top 15 although some people might find that debatable. The growth trajectory of this institute is similar to that of ISB. In fact, the dean of Great Lakes Dr.Bala Balachandran was instrumental in establishing ISB. This is a little known fact. Our dean calls himself a serial institute builder and it is just a matter of few years before Great Lakes will get the true visibility it deserves. If you look at the ROI, its better than ISB for a 1 year MBA program. Our fees is currently around 6 lakhs and it is expected to go up by a lakh or two once the new campus comes up. Placements were good for the last batch inspite of an economic downturn. This year, we expect these figures to increase.

Also, we have taken a conscious decision not to take part in the rankings until the new campus comes up. Even so, all the B school rankings are usually rigged and it comes down to how much one can pay the magazine to move up in the ranking....
