Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing Post Graduate Diploma in Agri-business Management Admission Test (CCS NIAM PGDABM Test) is an entrance test conducted by Chaudhary Charan Singh Institute of Jaipur for the admission into the Post Graduate Diploma in Agri Business Management. It is a Two years programme. This institute is a reputed institute under the Agricultural Ministry of India. This institute offers high quality education in the field of agriculture marketing. Large numbers of candidates apply for the test each year.

Structure of CCS NIAM PGDABM Test

The admission process includes different stages. The selected candidates from the list of applicants are invited for the written test. After the written test the short listed candidates have to attend for a group discussion and a final interview. After all these section, the final selection of the candidates will be done. The written test consists of questions from five sections. The time for the test will be two hours. These questions are mainly for evaluating the candidates’ knowledge in the areas of Quantitative, numerical, logical ability, General knowledge, Communication and English comprehension, Agriculture, Managerial ability. Those who clear the written test will be called for group discussion and finally for the interview. Those who clear the entire test will be finally selected.

Syllabus for CCS NIAM PGDABM Test

The entrance test will be included five different sections. The questions are from the following areas. The entrance exam will include questions in following areas.

Quantitative, numerical, logical ability
Communication and English comprehension
Agriculture
Managerial ability
General knowledge
Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have a four years bachelor’s degree agriculture or in any of the agriculture related subjects like Agriculture or related disciplines, Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology and Food Technology etc from any agricultural University affiliated by ICAR or UGC. The candidates should have at least second class marks for applying for the test. The students who are going to appear for their last year’s exams can also apply for the test. They should submit all their certificates at the time of the admission process. Certain reservations are provided for the C/SY and OBC candidates as per the Government norms.

How to Apply?

The candidates who want to appear for the entrance test should be registered online through the official website of NIAM www.ccsniam.gov.in or www.specialtest.in/niamat. The exam prospectus also will be available in the website. There is no any other means for obtain the application form. The candidates have to attach a demand draft of Rs.1000/ - in the name of the Director General of National institute of Agricultural Marketing in Jaipur. The Sc/St candidates have to take a demand draft of Rs. 500/- The application fee will not be refunded.

How to fill the Form?

The exam prospectus will be available in the website. The candidates should follow all the instructions in the prospectus for form filling. All the data entered in the form should be correct. Otherwise it leads to the cancellation of the form. The demand Draft should be attached along with the application form. The documents of the certificates will be attached with the application form. The filled application form should be mailed to the Director General of National Institute of Agricultural marketing in New Delhi.

Date of closing online registration: Last Week of January, 2012

Last date of receipt of the filled forms along with Demand Draft: Last Week of January, 2012

Written Entrance Examination: Last Week of February, 2012

Group discussion/ personal interviews of short listed candidates: On the months of March/April, 2012

The candidates have to collect the syllabus from the website. Try to understand all the topics and divide the whole portion into small unites and try to cover all the topics within the limited time. Try to collect the previous question papers from the website. After covering each section the candidates have to conduct a self Test. It helps them to evaluate their knowledge in each portion. Candidates should revise all the topics that they studied. The candidates can to the coaching centers for preparing for the exams. All these plans should help them to achieve the goal.

How and Where To Get the Results?

The result of the exam score will be published in the website www.ccsniam.gov.in. The candidates have to check the website for getting the exam news.

Score Validity

The exam score will be valid for one year. After that period new exam will be conducted.
