The Staff selection commission is one of the prominent Government recruiting body in the country, conducts national recruitment examination for different departments. SSC is accountable for conducting the Investigators examination for the National Statistical Survey Organization. The qualified candidates of the examination will be posted as the Investigators, Group C and B( non technical and non Gazetted) in NASSO. The officer’s recruitment of SSC also made through this examination. The SSC examination is one of the most competitive government recruitment examinations. In every year large numbers of job seekers are taking this examination for the designated position in the Central Government.

Structure of NASSO Test

The selection process consists of two phases, the written test and the Personality and interview round. The written examination is divided into two papers, the objective type and the conventional paper.

Paper I is f MCQ format with 120 minutes. The paper carries 200 marks and covers the areas of

General Intelligence: 50 Marks
General Awareness: 50 Marks
General English & Comprehension: 100 Marks
The qualified candidates of Paper I can take the Paper II, were they have to choose any of the subjects, Commerce, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics. The paper also carried 200 marks with two hours duration.

The interview and Personality test together constitutes 100 marks and only the qualified candidates of the first phase will call for the second phase f selection process. During the second stage the candidate’s knowledge in their domain, personal interest ad inert personal skills were evaluated.

The minimum educational obligation is the graduation from the recognized university/institute. The applicant must have the bachelor’s degree in any f the following subjects

Mathematics
Commerce with statistics
The candidates must be fluent in the local language and should have a clear idea in the local customs and practices. They must have a sound knowledge in computer and the applicants with valuable experience in the data collection or survey works will get special consideration during the selection process. The age of the aspirant should fall between 21 and 26.

How to Apply?

The applicant can use the prescribed format as given in the notification details to apply for the NASSO examination. The candies can also download the form from the given official website of NASSO application form. The candidates can use the same application form obtained in the Employment News.

How to fill the Form?

The application should be filled by the candidates with their own hands writing. The information given in the application form should match with the official records of the candidates and don’t provide any false information on the application. The applicant should paste a pass port size photo on the given column. The photo should be in color and follow the suggested size requirement. The filled form should reach the SSC regional centers with the suggested document before the final date.
