MBA with work experience is always preferred. Also executive mba / distance mba is advancing at a fast pace and becoming more and more acceptable in the industry.
My suggestion would be to take up mba after gaining some industry exposure.

As said by Kartik, Prior experience adds a lot of weightage to the profile and you can take full advantage of that, if you join an MBA program.

MBA with work-ex will give more return in boom time. else, you have work-ex or not doesn't matter much in Indian B-school. In that sense, work-ex with 4-5 yrs and have 1 yr executive MBA program is far better | | | |
