MEANING
Every organization has its well prepared personnel policy & these deal with different aspects—employee benefit, employee relations etc.
“A document/booklet which contains the details of an organization is called personnel policy manual”.


It is a comprehensive document which serves as a guide to employee supervisor’s manager’s etc. They can refer to it as & when required dealing with personnel problems or else.


Copies of personnel policy manual should be provided to all managerial employees from the top corporate officer to lowest level supervisors for ready reference and decision making on personnel matters & problems.


A personnel policy manual is a companion volume to the employee handbook. The personnel policy manual is written primarily for the information & guidance of managers. They are supposed to know the personnel policy & administrative decisions relating to such policies
