Developing a high-performance work-place culture is a desire of every CEO and dream of every HR Professional. The type of competitive corporate culture that we are in, it is not an option but a requirement. Different companies have different set type of culture based on the industry they are in. Even within a industry different companies develop different culture based on the vision and purpose of the company. Some companies recognizes experience and longevity in the company other recognizes exceptionally high-performance. There are some other companies where even efforts are recognized.

Developing high-performance culture is not easy. There are some social and cultural challenges to overcome. Perception of people changes with time. Aged people want experience and loyalty to be recognized whereas young people prefer performance to be rewarded. Even the age of CEO also effects the performance culture.
