The Human Resources Representative is responsible for the implementation and coordination of GCA human resource policies and practices in account locations within his or her respective division.? In addition, the HRR is responsible for the implementation of wage programs for non-exempt personnel and for providing direction for the internal and external acquisition and retention of qualified personnel.? He or she will counsel management and individual employees concerning employment procedures and administer the job posting process.? The HRR is expected to perform HR related training functions, participate in and coordinate the strategic succession planning process for their division, and be accountable for State and Federal record keeping.? Lastly, he or she assists and advises division management on human resource management issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Monitors implementation of human resource policies and procedures in coordination with the GCA Corporate HR team; prepares and maintains hourly associate handbooks on policies and procedures, including languages as it pertains to accounts within division.

* Monitors new employee orientation, training, and succession planning programs.? Provides employee relations counseling & exit interviewing.? Encourages Promotion from within the company.

* Develops and assists with the implementation of employee retention programs.

* Advises division and account management on various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of employee morale.

* Determines and recommends a balanced employee relations program throughout all locations.? Provides advice and counsel to management in handling difficult and sensitive employee relation's issues.? Reviews cases of serious violations of company rules governing employee conduct and recommends actions appropriate for conflict resolution, including disciplinary actions.?

* ?Projects a positive and professional image on behalf of the organization.

* ?Operates within a financial budget for the department that has been developed and agreed to with the Division President.

* ?Directs and participates in the recruiting for and selection of candidates to fill vacant employment opportunities.? Ensures the quality of personnel hired the effectiveness of recruiting and selection techniques, and compliance with legislated requirements, such as EEO law.? Maintains the employee referral system.

* Processes oral and written communication skills sufficient to communicate credibly and effectively with applicants, outside agencies, and all levels of the organization; interpersonal skills sufficient to convey and receive information on a one-on-one basis; must b sensitive, persuasive and tactful and be viewed as an individual that associates from all levels can approach for discussion of matters that are likely to be sensitive and confidential

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is looking for a Benefits Coordinator to join our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. In this position you will provide support to our Benefits Manager in administering the company benefit and wellness programs. Youll coordinate benefits orientation for new employees, process the enrollment of employee benefit elections in the benefits administration and payroll systems, and respond to employee inquiries regarding medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans. Youll be instrumental in open enrollment preparation, processing benefit terminations, coordinating with our COBRA vendor, investigating benefit and payroll issues and working with internal and external departments to resolve those issues in a timely manner.
