WHY COMMUNICATION (ENGLISH) IS SO IMPORTANT

but i ask this question because i have seen without communication u r nothing . my friend was very good in knowledge but his english was worse and today he is working in insurance sector at his home town

To comment on your statement , knowledge alone at the interview stage is not enough for helping you qualify at the next stage.
What is also factored in is how comfortable you are in handling the queries of the interviewer.
Many people treat an interview as a big demon and get bogged down.
It is important to understand the meaning of interview- exchange of views.
You will be able to ace any interview that way.

Moving to your comment on communication- you have to make the interviewer see reason. Probably the way i would have handled it is knowing my limitation of English language i would have tried to improve on it gradually so that i have a working knowledge of English- and discussed with the interviewer that in the marketplace knowledge of the local language is more important than English although official languge of communication is English

Hello Friend,

First of all it is a good question you have asked.... and as per my view communication is a mean to communicate or to express your feelings and answer with other people... but in this tough competitive time... no matter it is company or a teacher they all are building other for the coming future when there would be no bar as per language is concerned... everywhere there would be a common language... therefore I think it is much correct to emphasize more on English as it is the most spoken language in the world...
Other thing which I would like to add in my post is.... when we take India as an example we have more than 30 regional language... till now also there are many of the states where people are not able to talk in their mother tongue i.e. Hindi... so as per the communication language is concerned it is not possible for a teacher as well as an employer to know all these regional language because today we can find out people from different origin working or studying at a different place.....
So if there is difficulty for the people out here in India itself... what would happen when you take a multinational company or a well renowned institute such as howard or anyother university.... when there are more than 7000 languages all over world....

communication in English is important not only because of maintain a social relationship but also to survival in business . Apart from china or some eastern country where business , legal and all work in their mother language.

Communication is the most essential part of any organisation.. It may not make a difference if one is a weak communicator while in school or college.. but it definitely hampers growth while one is attached to an organisation. Only good communication skills can take you to greater heights in your professional life. I believe it is communication which is important..not the language of communication

English is globally accepted.
Anything we do need convinces to the front person, while communicating.
But the person shoud understand also.

I agree that English is necessary for a nation like India which has Multi lingual population so it will be easy to conversation in English.

English people conquered 85% off the world so English might be the better language to communicate
