Hindi is our mother language. Still we are giving preference to English because of the reason that English has been adopted as the preferencial medium of communication in the todays corporate world.

If one is communicating in English, the people around him are more attracted towards him as compared to other who is communicating in Hindi.

Communicating in English is not really important .The basic feature of Communication is that the other person should understand your thoughts and ideas if you are able to communicate it in some other language it is fine. but as the economy of the world is going global it is essential to know a common language so that there is no discrepancy in communication. As English is wide followed by countries thus it is assumed as global language.

My dear frnd, Neha....see its not just english that is important...its the language you do your business in is what matters...so effective communications makes the work much simpler as you must've studied in the 1st Principles of management subject....

since english is the default language in trade, business and foreign interaction it is an added advantage if a person possesses good communication skills as he can put his points in a better way as he gets the maximum ears that understand him/her for that matter.

So yes in a way good communications do make a difference in your impression but then its the content that matters all in the long run...else there would have been the TV anchors and news presenters that would have been running this country....(no offense meant to the industry though). so develop a better content and you can leave the best of the speakers behind....

communication is important because if u r entering in to a corporate world or something u want to be stick strong in the english...i learn to speak english. when i enters my college life at that time only i learned english ............ still i donknow to speak in formed sentences........
if u want to learn english means friends is the best way try to speak with u r friends in english ...........

English along with Hindi is our national language.Especially in the corporate world,u have to interact with people from all walks of life and the only language binding all is English.Fluent English is a key to success as it not only enables one to cast a positive impression of oneself but also enables one to understand the subjects and other things clearly.

English is just a language - and Why is in communication in English is vital now a days is - that we are in a world which is mostly becoming English oriented - and if you need to convey your ideas to other peer - its necessary that you are good in english. If the society you live is not english oriented then there is not at all necessary that you learn english. In japan - the first preference is always given to their own language - Japanese - and the computer keyboards are also in japanese... A language is just a medium to express your thoughts.... nothing more than that. The importance lies with the utility factor of it based on th society you live in ..

I do agree that English happens to be a global language and is of importance only if ur in a corporate office. Once out in the marketing field its ur ability to connect locally is what counts.
