Clients will stick to a particular corporate only if they find a valuable fit and transparency with the service provider.Loyalty programs can be VAS(value add services) for the client but not sufficient for him to have business with someone.Service provider has to satisfy the client on why he should have business with the service provider and explain him the benefits and savings.

loyalty programs do work in firms provided the firm have required training and development programmes for the employees. But it is rare to find a comapny with loyalty programs working effectively and that is because it involves implementing programmes like customer relationship management etc and since employees are used to old work routine and methodology they find it hard to mould themselves in new king of environment and prog implemetation and accordingle deal with clients...... but if a strategy is worked out to tackle such problems these loyalty programmes would yield excellent results.
