yes we can surely expect cos acc to me TZP will appeal to western countries also as the subject is broad and applies over there also last time lagaan was based more on indian vlaues so d ppl over there coud not connect to it so i feel we shud be ready as oscars will be comin dis year

tare zameen par was hit in India. But it is not made for international audiences. may be it will receive some appreciation from critics. But no award for this one.

TZP is definitely a good movie, but its editing leaves a lot to be desired, but the theme should be able to get it attention. To add to that, we know Aamir Khan wont leave a stone unturned.

However I think if Wednesday is nominated next year, it stands a pretty good chance as it is better than TZP purely on merit.
