This is primarily because of the fact that a person who has worked for say, 2 years, must have gained something out of it and learned how to work in a particular situation. Work experience gives a better understanding of the intricacies of how an organisations actually functions. When it comes to professional courses like MBA , work ex not only helps you to grasp things better but also makes learning better.

Its true that before enrolling for an MBA programe a candidate should have one or two years of work exprience. Since he can understand the concepts very easily as compare to a fresher. He can relate theoritical concepts with his practical knowledge he aleady gained and understands it better and very quickly.

I agree wid Vaishali....as u undergo this MBA program it is far more than jus going to class n listening....ther is so much out in all subjects to actually relate to the real world....experience in a good company helps relate many real life situations in subjects such as HR and marketing etc....
