1. Indian banks are not networked properly in rural areas

2. Rural banks are not creating services that is suitable for rural mass

3. Creating awareness about banking is not done properly

There are many reasons for no aggresiveness for banking in rural India. Rural area people are not educated, they do not have excess money to adopt so called concept SAVINGS, their life style is earn daily and spend daily since most of them are working for daily wages

rural india is still untapped by the financial institutions because banks are not taking initiative for the development of rural india. People in rural india understand only cash they have not seen cheques, drafts so they need proper orientation about the facilities provide by the bank.

Bcoz lack of education among poeple and lack of awreness of banking system in rural area and also its not easy to gain confidence of village people

banks concentrate much on the metros and major cities, where the revenue is more.

people dont have money in rural areas so what will banks do??? dtz the irony...dtz y private banks dont show up in rural areas...
