If it is banned without taking into consideration the costs of production of alternatives instead of plastic then the country will face many difficulties.
If cost efficient alternatives are available and with proper planning and efficiency, Yes plastic should be banned.

People got accustomed to the usage of plastic bags. So it will be difficult to eradicate the usage of plastic bags. There is no other better alternative than plastic bags.
