Villages are the grass root of country and its evident that Grass Root Management is the latest fad that has taken theIndian Management/Market up with a beat. What better testifies this fact other than several of our premier management schools introducing Rural Management as a subject!!

when more than 80% of your population lives in rural areas. How does it matter if it is a strength or weakness. The fact is it is there and it depends on you how to use that as a resource a strenth.

We can take villages as we want to. Different people have different mindsets regarding villages and everybody have their own reasons. As i am marketing student and i think villages are not properly utilized by us around 70% of India's population lives in the rural areas. Company's have very good scope of business in rural areas because i think all the peoples in villages are becoming more and more modern they are well aware about market and products available in market. So i think we can utilize those areas. Indian market is considered as one of the major and biggest market of the world and their is lot of potential in the villages and rural areas and the thing which is needed is some focus towards those village areas.
Villages are assets for us these are just like unshaped and unfurnished diamond to which have to give a shape and finishing.
VILLAGES ARE STRENGTH OF INDIA NOT WEAKNESS.

Hai all
according to my point of view, indian villages are both our strength and weakness.70% of the papulation in our country is in village only. out of the 70% 69% of the peoples are involved in agriculture. agriculture is the backbone of india. indirectly we are saying that villages are the backbone of india. so it is our strength. but these villages are underdeveloped and the peoples are suffering.it is our weakness. due to this reason only, india is not under the list of developed country.to make india as a developed country, we have to develop the villages.

Future growth of india Belong to villages. Villages are becoming new sources of cost effective manpower. The spending on rural infrastructure is ever increasing which bring more disposable income and thus spending. These villages want more doctors , engineers , bankers so provide another employement opportunity in this recession ridden time.
