There was lot of debate and still continuining on the above topic.Letz also bring sme heat to this forum.I would go with Microsoft in the above debate.
1.In OS the code can be modified by anyone and so nobody owns the responsibility for a particular defect.
2.In OS the base product could be made on particular model and after several modifications the final product could be of different one altogether.
