niche marketing is a marketing that is done keeping in mind the needs & demands of a particular segment or section of customers.for e.g i did my summer training from moser baer which works on the concept of b2b business model which is a niche marketing where the customers of the company are basically from business fraternity...Moser baer is one the fastest growing company of india.it is basically a manufacturing unit, which manufactures blank & replicated cds & dvds. it has also ventured into media & entertainment business with the same strategy.

hi,
i feel that niche marketing is very specific and most of the small entrepreneurs beleive in niche market. the reason is bcoz it has cost advantage, labour advantage and above all the risk is minimum. again it really depends on the entrepreneur and his skillset whether the bussiness gets profitable or its in a loss
