Are Banks really your best Investment Advisor?? - May 15th, 2011

With an increase in competition among banks Banks have transformed themselves from Traditional Banking Method to modern banking system so that apart from the old concept of banking. Banks can even provide other financial products to their existing customers.

However the point of worry is that whether banks do really act as an investment advisor in providing financial services in regards with financial products available in market.

A common query on our readers' minds around holiday season is about Leave Travel Allowance.
After all, it has probably been a busy work year, so taking a break and going on holiday is an excellent idea. An added benefit is that taking a little holiday helps you to save tax - through your Leave Travel Allowance.

The first thing to consider is the reputation, experience and reliability of your investment adviser. There are trade associations and banks which may have a list of reputable advisers who you may use but remember that nothing can replace the recommendation of someone who has used that adviser before. If you can possibly arrange it, take references and follow them up. There are also minimum qualifications that you will need to check to ensure that you are taking on someone who is able to handle your investment affairs with competence.
