As every one know there has been hiring freeze going on everywhere around the world. Leave aside those experienced people. Lets think about freshers. Look at Google, Facebook and many other big corporations. They too started their respective companies when they were still in college. So is it a good idea for young graduates to start their own start up in these difficult times. | | | | | MBA Help | | RAM Your Friendly Helper

IMO, some experience is required to start your own business; however, if one have some guidance or support from experienced people, one can plan. Also, in which area you are planning to enter, for instance, service sector or manufacturing, what core competency is needed, what are the CSF to survive in the that particular segment. | | | | | | | | Active Manager Institute: Graphic Era University

Well i think starting a company is always a good idea but the thing which you need for that is first of all a good and unique business idea and strong support of resources. In India at present 1000s of companies are operating in different areas but only few make their name in the market, and reason for that is their different way of working, good strategies, innovative and new ideas. Yes you can go for lauching a company but before that try to point out some new areas of operations which in the past are never being explored or very less utilized. Gurpreet Singh

Based on my practical experience, I feel that even if you have your own established business, one should work for others ( 2-3 years ), gain experience an then manage your own business or start a new venture. | | | | | | | | Trainee Manager Institute: SIOM

nopes,..its not at all a good idea to start a company after graduation, because even if you try to manage funds or invest some money for your business, you will need experience to run your business, its risky, and it involves a very go through of the market strategies and responsibilities. so it would be better if you know something before you step into it or take bigger decisions. | | | | | | | | Trainee Manager Institute: NMIMS

It is a good idea to start a company but not immediately after graduation... since it is a time for you to take the experience how businesses are run and become multi geographical. So it is important to first have a great understanding and experience in the business line you want to be. | | | | | | | | Trainee Manager Institute: Carnegie Mellon University

I think, it very much depends on an individual's capacity to take risk...if you think you've what it takes to the hit in case you dont succeed and you have a very strong belief in your idea..by this i mean that you can run with it for years without being demotivated by what happens then go for it...its rare that a business grows manifold in a couple of years..one has to keep running with it..keep believing in it!..on the other hand if you're not confident then dont start a company at any point...your passion is the only thing that will show you success...job has its advantages for sure..but it has its disadvantages...i personally believe that working for a big company will teach you processes but it will also limit your thinking to those processes...you will not innovate...wont be creative and just accept that an already established company is following those processes so they must be right...
anyways..in short..there is no right or wrong time to start a business..it is the right person with the right mindset/passion that will make you successful...Cheers! | | | | | | | | Trainee Manager Institute: IBS PUNE

well coming to the point whether it is good or not to start a company after graduation means its a good one because we will become the entrepreneur and have our own business and will also be able to give employment for many people but the point here is that in order to start and run a business we should have thorough knowledge of what kind of business to start, how to start, when to start, what planning should be done, what are the steps to be taken and what i should do for the continuous success of my organization and the most important thing to start a business is money if we are set with all this things and if we have confidence enough to take and handle risk then starting a company is a good idea. | | | | | | « WHAT SHOULD BE THE CRIETERIA TO CONTEST GENERAL ELECTION OR TO BECOME MP,,,,,,,,,,,,,
