a working lady might not have a lot of time to spend with her children but what counts more is the quality of time not the quantity

They both different perspective and different command in status. Imagine your housewives mom and your working wife or girfriend they both play an important role in your life.
There is no comparision in both of them....

Sounds great being at home raising kids but today's society is different, more mothers are working more then ever before. Many women wish to do the stay at home mom thing but the working mom is the latest trend. Your kids mature faster, and your family income is greatly increased when both parents are working.

I have friends who have had working mothers and friends who had stay-at-home moms. They all turned out ok. I would say that, in order to be a good working mother, you have to have a goods work/life balance and enough money to pay for decent childcare.

Well I think good mother cannot be identified or measured on the crieteria that whether she is working or not. In todays world women is liberal and should remain liberal they also want an interaction with outer world and society which cannot be done at best as a housewife. I does not affect at all if the world is working she will not be a good mother and if she is housewife then also its not guarrented that she will be a good mother.

SO measuring women on her work status for the question like she is good mother or not is a meaningless. Every mother loves her child and we should not put up questions on her love for children for only one thing THAT SHE IS A WORKING WOMEN...................
