hey a good topic...
well acc to me .. there is corruption everywhere.... legalising it will be useful as there is need to bribe and every place where we go... by legalising it the ppl will find it usefull as they will hv a clear idea about amount about the govt rate and corruption rate, they will hv to shed to get their work done. .. this will help their work to get over in a faster time and corruption has become a regular practise now a days... ppl dnt feel ashamed to offer money to any officials to get their wokr done neither r the ppl who take it... it has become clear tat if u break a law .. paisa do aur chalte bano..... ppl r cool with it .. it makes a diff only a few... who r totally against this practise.....

Legalizing corruption is like saying i have the right to rob u and u can't even complain.... Do u think its possible?
hey gaurav dnt u thnk ppl who ask for bribe ask in an authoritative manner that i will rob u .. and how many of us r reluctant .. no one .. we all offer so they take ...... once if we stop giving them they will be forced to do our work in whtever salary they get frm the govt.....

I got this topic in my Gd today, thats why i put it up..I feel you cant stop other illegal activites ,but you can always reduce it by taking certain actions,FOR EG. If you want a triband connection, you ask the responsible people for setting it up for you,3 months passes, then 5 months you scold them.Eventually the person comes to a conclusion to get the work done. This is not the right way, go to the head office or send a mail to the company or responsible people and take legal actions and not the way to corruption

Regards,
Melroy.

I think that answers the first part of the problem.... i.e. corruption can't be legalised... So, no the question that lies ahead is how do we counter this corruption....

See this corruption is like a big industry... a big machinery... who every part is affected by this so-called "rust". Niether can u do away with it nor can u accept it.

There are a couple of ways to reduce corruption:

Privatisation -> This will certainly help to reduce corruption, because the need is for a common corporate gain. Even if we do not wish to encourage capitalism, then we can have neo-capitalism, i.e. a blend of socialism and capitalism fixed.

Taking the help of the media -> As u can see that media is always alert and ever-ready to catch sizzling hot stories and conducting various sting operations. No matter what others opine about media, it is still one very powerful tool against corruption.

really nice solution .. bt dnt mistake me .. there r soo many cases which hv been opend out by anti corruption bureau and evn by the media .. how far hv they helped .. i agree tat greed is need of all this... even now today u go to any govt office or for tat matter any officials they will ask u undertable money ... whch in a particular situation cant be controlled....

See everything has a beginning. Compare media's power now and what it was earlier. You will notice a drastic change.

Ever heard of sting operations before.... It is because now media is showing how it can unmask the faces of all these leaders... and they're ready to expose the next corrupt person on whom they can get their hands on.

Don't u think all these efforts will stir some babu's soul inside-out... Don't u think he would be think twice of being secretly video-taped by some media's camera....

Change does not happen in a day, yet constant struggle is needed to bring the change. I feel the beginning has already commenced, now all that requires is continuation of it, by spreading awareness.
