do we really worry it??i dont think so.when we r going 2 settle in mars or moon then these things should not bother us.scientist hav proved that green house effect is not real and it is infact good 4 our planet.so focus on some larger aspect than this tiny issues.

Conservation of nature is a very important aspect to consider in today's scenario. green house eefect, global warming, depletion of the ozone layer and other hazards may make almost everyone an insomniac in the coming time. i guess...starting at an individual level is more feasible than making mass movements. planting a few plants in the balcony, replacing the usage of plastic bags with paper bags is much more effective....seggregating waste and garbage that can be recycled can also be helpful. switching off the lights when not in use, avoiding very loud music, proper and timely servicing of refrigerators, ac's, etc for their cfc conetnt.

Conservation, exploitation, and cultural CHANGE IN THE INDIAN FOREST SERVICE, 1875-1927

Although the Indian Forest Service was founded on conservationist principles, by the twentieth century it had become almost exclusively devoted to profitable exploitation of the forests it managed. Quantitative content analysis of the service's primary voice, The Indian Forester, correlates the transition from conservation to extraction to shifts from the dominance of generalists to that of bureaucratic specialists, and from ad-hoc holism to reductionism. Growing emphasis on reductionist science reinforced a mental framework inimical to conservationist arguments based on indirect benefits and appeals to precaution. In the broader culture, these arguments resurfaced in reaction to periodic famines, but by the beginning of the twentieth century, they had lost respectability within the Forest Service.

INDIA TODAY FACES the interrelated problems of Himalayan deforestation, soil erosion and salinity, dam siltation, flash floods, and biodiversity loss. The government agencies responsible for solving these problems-and, as some would argue, for causing them-are the direct descendants of the environmental management agencies that came into being under British rule. Chief among these agencies is the Indian Forest Service. Since most of India's environmental problems are far worse now than they were a century and a half ago, it seems logical to seek the roots of the current crisis in the development of the Forest Service. The history of the Forest Service resonates globally because the forest bureaucracies of the rest of the former British Empire and much of the anglophone world have their roots in India.

i think we can use our own innovativeness to conserve nature like ahmad khan a guy in banglore made a thing out of plastics wich is called polybend and is used to lay roads along wid bitumen and bcos of this polybend the life of the roads in bangalore increases by 3.now he buys plastics from evrybody and makes polybend which has actually helped creating many roads in bangalore.

things to be done to conserve nature

Avoid to buy plastic bags
Recycle as much as possible
Switch off electrical items when they are not in use

all those steps discussed here are no doubt important but i feel that apart from this we should also take initiative in educating people around us the need and necessary steps by which we can conserve nature.
b'coz many of us do these things without knowing the impact of them on the nature, so these could be done by forming a small community in the locality and then helping uneducated people in taking steps to conserve nature.

I can see the efforts of nature conservation through the wonderful pockets of wildlife that still persist in our parks, nature and wetland reserves, forests and shores, however ecosystems are being destroyed when the productivity of the biosphere is not able to keep pace with human consumption and waste generation. I feel that people should learn to step out of their comfort zone and work towards conserving nature and prevent people from abusing animals and plants. We must also reduce global warming for the sake of the arctic creatures.

you cant do that.
it is in the nature of nature to be "chaning"
how do you define evolution?

isnt it chaning and isnt it a positive move?

Start From The GarBage... Separate The Bio Waste & Non Recyclable Waste Separately... Use The Bio Waste For Plants...... Where As Non Recyclable Waste To The Dustbins & Dispose Them!!!

Our country is such that if any one feels hot he will fix an air conditioner in his house but he wont plant a tree which gives more life that is available free of cost.So go green and plant as many trees so that we can not only protect ourselves but also habitats of other living beings.

Nature is most valuable thing for any living being. So it is very very essential to conserve our nature. Without the nature we are unable to live.:SugarwareZ-074:

Conservation of exhaustive vital resources is essentially most important concern for human kind..
Otherwise we will be burning off all the coal and other minerals present on earth.
Creating alternative sources of energy and research over it is also important like hydrogen car, wind mills is also necessity of today..

The food, water and energy needs of the ever-growing human population stretches the supply of the earth's raw materials and strains the delicate balance of its various ecosystems. By limiting consumption, preventing waste and pursuing clean, renewable sources of energy, we can slow the depletion of Mother Nature's resources and pass on a healthier, safer environment to future generations.

Recycling uses materials that are no longer useful to make other products.Water efficiency also reduces the need to construct more waste water facilities and reduces the need to deplete surface water sources, which degrades freshwater habitats.Reducing consumption of energy generated from traditional sources or switching to renewable sources, like solar, wind and geothermal power, greatly reduces the amount of pollutants released into the environment. Minimize your electricity use by purchasing energy-efficient appliances and turn them off when not in use.
