I think performance of animals should be totally banned in circus because the thing we all must understand is that in circus animals are not treated in a good ways another reason which i think is that animals cannot survive out of their natural habitat for a long time. Imagine if aliens took us and make us perform what they want in front of all their how we will fell put yourself on place of animals and feel their pain and suffering which they feel. They cannot speak and express their feelings but we have brain why we always create trouble for them for our own fun and enjoyment we play with feelings and life of others.

USE OF ANIMALS SHOULD BE TOTALLY BANNED AND ONE WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THIS SHOULD BE PROSECUTED AND ANIMAL PROTECTION LAWS SHOULD BE MADE MORE STRICT.

i am in total support for this...although the circus culture is not very prevalant in India now...but in whatever small scale it is carried on...the animals are not kept well..they are treated really bad by their masters..
animals, like human beings are part of the universe..their place is meant in the jungle..and we should respect that...

I agree on the health issues of the animals.
But it also gives employment to many people. Children’s are target audiences of the circus. They may enjoy the events, but they also see many animals performing LIVE. Alternate source of learning can be Zoos, which are maintained by government. I really plead you to visit Zoo of Mumbai located in Byculla. Pathetic conditions of animals, not so friendly environment. They do charge u the entry fee, but no words to describe the mismanagement.
Another formula to ban Circus and improve on ZOO management. All circus people can be employed under ZOO management. This may will solve both purposes. Children will enjoy seeing animals, Circus people will have jobs and Zoos will attract revenue in terms of tourism.

hey i hv been to circus... this mght b one of the reasons of adding up this topic in debate.... naa..
i do agree with all the post... that animal performances shld b banned in circus..... but sometimes wat we do.... is like we jus kep all this things in r mind that animals are treated badly in circus n all but wen this circus comes in r city evry1 runs over there to see the show.....
i wud prefer to implement it by not gng to circus n instead talkin to others about this activities

I think we all are equally responsible for bad treatment of animals in circus,zoos why this is tendency of we humans to use anything which we like for our benefits ya if children like circus then i think there is also we are responsible for that because we elders must told them that animals also feel, they also get sad when treated badly,separated from their groups, they also cry who will understand their feelings.ya in case of employment there too we get selfish for our income we use animals which is 100% wrong.
