I personally feel everyone learns from others mistakes and more so when the mistake is committed by himself. Behind every success are a 100 failed attempts to succeed. So experienced or inexperienced, someone with a motive to uplift the society should be given a chance.

i totally agree wit u kartik... the basic probs in our politicians is the lack of feeling of uplifting our society.. So we need educated politicians who r not only interested in the growth of indian subcontinent but also give some valuable contributions to the indian society...

I think that youth should be given preferance in Indian politics
because now its a time when a youth of India must get
chance to prove. Indian youth who are doing exceptionally very well in
different fields and they deserve the seats in parliaments and state
assemblies. But only serious and capable candidates must get chance
if we say that Mr.Rahul Gandhi or Sachin Pilot or someone else are youth leaders.I am sorry to say they all got well set platform in politics from their parents
I mean to say that good Indian professionals must get chance to prove themselves.
Our college political system is also not good. College elections are just for fun and popularity and its also increasing crime and due to this capable youth leaders don't get chance to come up and lead their state, their very own country. There is big need of refining college elections and its system.
Different ministries in Govt must be given to experts of that field not to those who just want a ministry without knowledge of that ministry
Now its a time if we want to be a developed country our respected politicians must give chances to capable youth without any bias or partiality.
Yes we also need experience our respected politicians like Mr.Chidambarm, Mr.Pranabh Mukherjee etc.
We must not sacrifice with bright tomorrow of our country and
YOUTH MUST GET MORE BIGGER ROLE TO PLAY IN POLITICS

I think that in every field you should have some knowledge abot tht field and whereas theres the topic about experience thn one automatically got experienced once he dedicates himsel in the field he want to be whether polictics or any other it doent mind but u need to learn many lessons in that. a

It's not experience that you need in the field of politics.. You got to have a sense of responsibility.
Unfortunately, this very sense lacks in ALL the existing politicians...
and if ever a politican (who tries to do something good for the society) is elected; he's thrown out before his/her term ends.
So, Young or Old, Experience or Not... what honest politicians need is freedom to work for the betterment of society

Experience is required 2 become managers and not Politicians. Politicians should have a love 4 doing good 4 d society. They shhould not b self centered.

Any 1 young or aged can b a politicians and it does not matter at all wat experience he has. If v want v should get more people like Nilekani who have experience as well as a desire to do good 4 d country into politics.

i my opinion its not about experience or youth that we need in our indian politics...
what we need is the enthusiasm and devotion towards India , its growth and its public....
a politician should be categorized on the basis of honesty, dedication and not on the basis of age criterion..
an experienced politician who works for the development of india is far better than a youth who wants to enter politics and take it up as a profession for the sake of money and similarly an unexperienced youth wanting to change the future of india is far better than an experienced bt corrupted politician.
it is not important that a person should have lots of degrees or experience bt what matters is that a politician should be clear about what he wants and what changes he want to bring.
once they are clear what changes are required they would be able to fynd the way as well.............
