NO .i don't think so ...as its indian culture to maintain a public image for your self whether u r a common man or a celebrity ...
though we see these scenes even on news channels these days ...but that doesn't mean that we start following it in public ...

i wud disagree wid public kissing...i believe such private things must be done in ur home...i m sure i m sounding conservative,,,but then the fact is it has very bad impact on young children..particularly teenagers(growing childdren),,when they c all these things on street they get aroused...So adults should know to control themselves atleast in public places.places like juhu,bandstand,carter road,reclamation must be taken good care of,,i mean maintained properly..i dnt say banned it completely but to some extent..

Kissing in public is ok...UNTIL AND UNLESS IT lasts for say 1-2 or mabey 3 sec..It should not be banned as fatima said bt a certain level shld be maintained.People should nt go on a smooching spree...Like the french ,they have a place wer every1 smooches at the same time....and i also read about this article long back,a place in china ...100's of couple have sex together at the same time at sum place...weird right....So the indian culture is surely a 1 to respect and should be maintained... We all love india!

I think public affection is ok as long as your not going over- bored and not getting hot and heavy. There's a respectful way of kissing in public.
K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Sily... A smooch or a peck are acceptible, but when you get into deep kissing, groping, making out... that is totally inappropriate. When you start making others around you uncomfortable, you should draw the line. It should not look obscene.

melroy i did not say banned,,,read the lines,,,it means dnt banned it but maintain...i agree wid rosh when she said keep it simple sily,,dnt make it look vulgar..rest all depends on the couples to kiss publicly or keep it personally(in their bedroom)..

Kissing in public is OK.....if they don't have any problem, then why should anyone else? And to think nobody ever wonders whether peeing in public is cool or not; they just go ahead and do it, like it's the most natural thing in the world!
But yeah, if you plan to make out, then like Gaurav said....GET A FREKIN ROOM!
