think it depends on what kind of kiss it is & for how long, if your kissing someone in public . I don't see why there should be a problem with public displays of affection. If one must talk about Indian culture, I think they would be referring to the avoidance of vulgarity in order to respect the same. If the idea of two adults kissing in public appalls someone, they ought to go back to their religious books and look for instances where a public display of human affection is looked down upon.
