Is it okay to kiss in public?

i dont think one should kiss in public. whats d need for showing your affection publicly. its more private so one should restrict it to their homes. a kiss on the cheek is acceptable, but smooching in public wouldnt be a good idea. the younsters follow the elders & hence we should set good example for them. otherwise the culture will soon go for a toss.

If you kiss a child no need for question.
If pope kiss it is religious custom
Kissing is an expression of approval
Kissing gives happiness to those involved.
Kissing sends non verbal messages of support, happiness etc.,
eAll the above are agreeable provided you did not raise the question.
Once the question is asked, you disapprove all the above reasons.
Then You agree to disagree with all above reasons.
You will not agree with any reasons further of approving kiss.
Hence the answer lies within u.
Whether you will kiss after getting an approval from majority which means you are still disapprove and does wrong thing.
or
You allow others kiss each other only after raising this question in a forum, and get some yes and some no replies?
It all depends on your own decision.

I am not agree public kissing like french is not ok from my view not only in india in the world, because it's a private thing to do in between couples.Especially in india there is diversified culuture, values and ethics have mingle with one place.

It's within their right to do so. But while it is within their right, are they morally right to do so? I think it all comes down to the kind of education your parents have inculcated within you. When you do that, it's more likely to harm your reputation and garner perceptions of your parents than you, really. It's right but not all that desired in society. Even in Singapore or Australia, these are not common - and I've heard that India has really and utterly embarked on this westernization aspect, where the west is headed towards conservatism! Funny.

it is not ok to kiss in public place ...becoz we all are indians .,we also have a society for which we care,we think, and we mean it therefore it is not ok to kiss in public

NO , it's not a thing that should be done in the public . we are living in INDIs . we have our own culture . such activities are degrading. people spoiling our culture should be aware that they are a resons for soiling . it should go into their inner minds.
