Yes with a population of morre than 1 billion and millions of business going on in the country...we really cant generalise the statement...

there are people who dont follow the quality norms...and try sellin adulterated products..there are also people who support them as they themselves are not much concerned about quality...

but on the other side there are people who are commited towards quality...

so we really cnt generalise...

We "Indians" are still a developing country.... we are still trying to adapt to the changing quality standards for products and services.... since the opening of economy in 1991, we have been exposed to higher quality standards... but do we still recognize what quality standards exist in the developed markets.... i believe our government should make stringent quality norms in infrastructure development standards and other basic necessities like food and education..... once the educational and food necessities are taken care of... we can obviously think of raising the quality standards

No, quality is not a myth in India. There is too much of focus on the Quality imoprovement
