BE IT colas, brands like Hero Honda, Bru, and Fair & Lovely have all started advertising in various films. It has become a well-thought out and legitimate part of a brand's marketing plan, and as the film industry gets more corporatised, it's likely to get more popular.


Kaante stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Kumar Gaurav, Lucky Ali and Mahesh Manjrekar — and Thums Up. Coke's paid Sanjay Gupta, the film's producer, to feature the cola in some scenes — rumours put the figure at Rs 4 crore,

We have seen a lot other times as well like in koi mil gaya...hrithik keeps on saying that bournvita is good for health..

AND than in namaste london,,,rishi kapoor owns a store of spykar jeans in london...

what do you guys feel how effective are these advertisements...?
whether it is long lasting...or just a new trend...

There are using many more technologies for advertising the films. As we see film advisement are becoming like garbage in india. Advertisements are spreading like water fall in every corner of the country.. These advertising campaign is hacking around. Its totally waste of time. It should be used at an extent that's it.

They seem like a trend, cuz advertisment has to be implicit to be efficient
