it depends on child...
if he can manage things by himself its fine else it might be hell for him.........
more over hostel means people with different phychologies and mentalities.....
he must be able to gel with every one in a friendly manner else he may be distracted from his goal......
sometimes friends may also intentionally divert other from their goal......
Anyways it all depends on the person who lives in hostel....
If he is matured enough then its fine ,he knows he is doing n what he is ought to do...... | | | | | MBA Help | | RAM Your Friendly Helper

see peer pressure is one thing which is bad at hostel. i have personally seen brilliant students who topped the entrance exams come here and do very badly .. why coz they get into bad company.. they are mature enough but still it happens.. as for studying, get a temporary hostel during exams.. that would suffice | | | | | | | | Trainee Manager Institute: symbiosis institute

a child who is able to understand his responsibilities will have no problem in living in a hostel environment. Moreover its in hostel life u tend to learn more responsibilities. The Decision solely lies on the relationship between the parents and the child and the kind of mututal understanding that the two holds | | | | | | | | Trainee Manager Institute: hr college
